The Melted Scoop was established in 2014 by Jonathan Byrd, a suburban Philadelphia native, and U.S. Military Veteran. Spending many summers as a child eating Italian Ice, or as Jon called it, “water ice” with his sister, Crystal, kept him going. Entrepreneurship is challenging but didn’t stop him from taking “the leap” during one of many summers deployed.
The Melted Scoop does not make Ice Cream……yet!
We are currently hard at work experimenting with different ice cream recipes. Some are with dairy and some are without. Stay tuned! All Sorbet and Italian Ice desserts are Dairy Free, Gluten Free, Fat Free, and Vegan friendly. You will find pieces of fresh fruit in every scoop. Created with convenience in mind, and crafted with love and smiles, we would love to help celebrate your next birthday party, wedding, fundraiser, corporate event or special occasion with you.
